The TruMatic 6000 represents the current high-end generation of laser-punching combination machines from TRUMPF. With the combined technologies of laser cutting and punching, increasingly complex fabrication jobs can be performed with greater efficiency and higher productivity.
Combination technology stands for complete processing. The parts are fabricated on one machine using different processes. Standard contours such as round or rectangular holes are produced in one stroke by the punching unit, as are threads or other forms. Delicate, intricate inside and outside contours are laser cut with smooth, burr-free edges.
The TruMatic 6000 unites the two processes and provides for an optimal degree of flexibility in sheetmetal working. |

|
| | High process reliability
The TruMatic 6000 features a maximum hit rate of 900 strokes/min. In marking, hit rates as high as 2800 strokes/min are attained. Since all tools can be rotated, tool requirements are reduced to a minimum. Threads are produced at a C axis rotation speed of 330 RPM.
- Maximum hit rate of 900 strokes/minute
- Marking 2800 strokes/minute
- Speed of C axis rotation: 330 RPM
Innovative tool technology
During tool change, the punch, stripper and die are monitored by means of sensors. This guarantees process reliability. The new 5-station and 10-station MultiTools, which are designed for 4 mm sheet thickness and combine several punches in one tool, can be used on the TruMatic 6000. It goes without saying that all new tool concepts can be utilized on the TruMatic 6000.
- MulitBend: Produce right-angled bends up to 25 mm high and 55 mm wide at inside and outside edges.
- MultiShear: Thanks to this tool, it is virtually impossible to distinguish between punched and laser cut edges.
- Roller technology: Enables roller cutting, roller beading, roller offsetting and roller pinching.
- Quick tool change: less than 5 seconds for single tools and under 1 second within a MultiTool.
In addition to this, the optional brush tables meet increasingly stringent demands for non-scratch machining of workpieces. |

Laser head |
|
| | High laser beam quality
A TRUMPF laser of the latest generation is integrated in the machine frame of the TruMatic 6000. TRUMPF lasers have very high beam quality and are noted for their reliability in the rough industrial environment. Parameters for laser cutting are stored as tables in the control, so that the user does not have to work them out himself. Three different laser power ratings are available.
The open control system of the machine greatly facilitates operation. |

Automation of the TruMatic 6000 |
|
| | System extension all the way to full automation
The modular automation concept of the TruMatic 6000 enables step-by-step extension of the system, all the way to full automation where every finished part is automatically removed and/or sorted. Thanks to innovative sensor technology, the focus is centered on process reliability.
With the TruMatic 6000, TRUMPF has set new standards in combination technology. By combining the laser with punching, complex contours can be fabricated more productively, and hence also more economically, in both small and large quantities. And all this, of course, at the high and reliable quality that one is accustomed to from TRUMPF. |
