| The TRUMPF Group created 770 new jobs around the world during the past fiscal year. This represents a 12 percent increase. On June 30, 2007, the Group headcount was 7,258 employees (previous year 6,488). Including the non-consolidated companies, TRUMPF has 7,336 employees (previous year 6,574).
In Germany, 272 new jobs were created. This increased the number of employees by 6.8 percent to 4,280 employees (previous year 4,008). The number rose even more abroad, where 498 new jobs were added during the year under review. This increased the number of employees by 20 percent to 2,978 employees (previous year 2,480).
The new jobs are mostly in the Machine Tool and Electronics Business Fields. Viewed geographically, personnel increases were particularly high in Germany, Central and Eastern Europe, and Asia. 188 new employees were added to the TRUMPF Group with the acquisitions of TRUMPF Nederland B.V. and HUETTINGER Electronic Sp. z o.o. |
