2001  The laser cutting machine TRUMATIC L 3050 operates also thick sheet metal with highest cutting speeds.
 
2003  Opening of the new sales and service centre in Ditzingen, Germany.


The new sales and service center in Ditzingen

The company presents as a world premiere the prototype a new 4 kW disk laser. Due to the high beam quality this laser enables new applications like scanner-welding.

2004  TRUMPF delivers the 10,000th TLF CO2-Laser.

Sales are at 1,22 billion Euros. Laser and laser machines make up 68% of sales.

5,800 employees work for TRUMPF.

 
2005  
On November 18, 2005, after 40 years leading the company, Professor Berthold Leibinger resigns from his position as president of the TRUMPF Group.
He assumes the chairmanship of the supervisory board.
Dr. Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller becomes new president of the Group.
