The TRUMPF Group ended fiscal 2003/04 (July 1, 2003 to June 30, 2004) with consolidated sales of € 1.22 billion. This figure represents an increase of 2.3 percent. A very sharp upturn in the investment goods climate occurred not until the first months of 2004, i.e. during the second half of the company's fiscal year. The fast recovery of the markets was felt by TRUMPF in all its business divisions. Orders received reached their highest level so far, increasing by 21 percent to € 1.31 billion. |

| Its 10,000th laser of the TLF series delivered TRUMPF, the leading supplier of industry lasers and laser systems, at the beginning of July 2004 to a very proud end customer. The TLF 5000 CO2 laser with an output of five kilowatts is the beam source of a TRUMPF TRUMATIC L 6050 laser cutting system. |
