Process reliability – TRUMPF sets the standards!

Sensor monitored flaps ensure that parts are removed reliably.
+ Sensor monitored flaps ensure that parts are removed reliably.
Machining highly complex parts in the quickest time possible and with excellent quality – these are the main demands to be met by modern punching and combination machining technology. In order to meet such requirements, strategies are necessary which can guarantee reliable machining.
From sheet loading, all the way to part removal – process reliability must be ensured for each step.

TRUMPF technology makes for reliable punching:
  • Sensors monitor the loading of punch, die and stripper.
  • Light barriers check that removal of finished parts and punching waste through the parts flap is working properly.
  • Thanks to the push-out tool, even very thin finished parts are removed without problems.
  • The punching slug suction system ensures that all slugs are removed properly.
  • The programmable spray tool lubrication reaches the punch directly. This prolongs the service life of the tools considerably and punch breaks are reduced to a minimum.
  • Intelligent sheet peeling cycles, double sheet checking and the monitoring of finished part unloading all result in high process reliability for automated machines.
