Spray lubrication

First spray, then form

Thanks to spray die lubrication, it is possible to lubricate forms from below while processing.

An oil-air mixture is sprayed through a nozzle onto the underside of the sheet. The nozzle is mounted directly in front of the die adapter, beneath the fixed chute.

First spray, then form.
Prior to forming, the sheet is lubricated at the forming position by moving the sheet to spraying position. The oil is applied exactly where forming will take place.

Your advantages at a glance
  • Boosts the productivity while enhancing the part quality
  • Increases tool longevity
  • Easy handling: No need to lubricate the sheet before production
  • Protects the environment: Less oil is required due to spot lubrication
