Compare for yourself: Without (left) and with adaptive stroke calibration (right = perfect embossing) |
|
| | This situation will be familiar to everyone who is involved in sheet metal processing: The thickness of sheets varies, even within a single batch. This leads to varying part quality, since these variations in thickness interfere with forming and embossing operations.
Adaptive stroke calibration makes this particular problem a thing of the past! Sheet thickness tolerances are automatically compensated. This works as follows: the calibration tool senses the sheet surface, the ram control measures the position of the ram. The ram stroke is then calibrated to an accuracy of 0.03 mm.
