The new TruTops versions

Faster nesting processor:

• In nesting, the parts view can be changed from „to scale“ to „format filling“.
• Changes made while compiling and modifying nesting orders, such as quantity or part rotatability, can be assigned simultaneously to several parts or to all parts.
• Identical parts on a sheet can be highlighted with the aid of the part scroll.
• The new operation concept, additional keyboard shortcuts and a faster algorithm help to speed up nesting.

Better product data management (PDM 2.0):

• Data in the PDM can now be quickly accessed from all Windows programs.
• Files and their attributes, such as material or sheet thickness, can be deleted to the PDM recycle bin and later restored if required.
• Thanks to the improved search dialogs, it is easier to sift through large amounts of data.

No data redundancy:

• All the data you need for working with TruTops CAD, Nest, TruTops Laser and TruTops Punch is kept in a shared database.
• Use only one data master for material and blank, and also for the system and machine rules. This provides for higher data quality and makes production more reliable.
• TruTops Laser, TruTops Punch and TruTops CAD are updated together. This saves time and lets you get more out of your programming systems.

Product improvements in TruTops Laser:

• Previously programmed processing operations for a part remain intact when creating TwinLines.
• Remainder sheets are automatically entered in the remainder sheet management.
• The number of program runs, Micro-Joint lengths and all vaporization methods can be activated or deactivated directly in the NC mask.
• You can selectively modify the drive parameters at the control: For example, set a higher speed at the expense of accuracy.

Product improvements in TruTops Punch:

• You get more out of your material because the orientation of the individual punches in the MultiTool is taken into account in the clamp dead zone check for MultiTools. Moreover, display of the clamp dead areas has also been improved.
• Processing patterns created earlier, e.g. for notches, are defined with reference to material and sheet thickness and no longer to the exact material designation. This is of advantage especially when you assign different names to the same materials, e.g. according to suppliers.
• Parts can be automatically engraved.
• TruTops Punch now
• Vacuum and lubrication can be programmed for each stroke.
• The tools are automatically sorted to achieve an optimal sequence for processing.
• The configuration for automatic processing, e.g. for cutting up scrap or notching, can now be adapted with greater ease.
• Backward simulation is now possible step by step.
• The „Load & Layout“ function lets you take care of sheet layouts in a jiffy.
• Both the pushout path and pushout position can now also be modified later.
• The production plan type has been changed and now supports the TruTops FMC format. As a result, several loading and unloading stations can be configured, for instance, different pallet types can be assigned to different unloading stations.
• Names of production orders can now be assigned as required.

Improvements in Drawing part / TruTops CAD:

• Automatic functions facilitate the tracing of auxiliary geometry.
• A DWG interface is available as an option. This allows you to use data from other systems without having to edit it first in a time-consuming operation.
