How did your journey start at TRUMPF and which stops have you made along the way? What position do you hold currently?
I started working at TRUMPF in France as a Management Assistant. After a while, I was able to take on marketing tasks too. I am now responsible for marking communication exclusively – in particular for customer events.
Why did you choose TRUMPF?
There are many reasons to choose TRUMPF. For me, the most important were the international orientation of the company and the collaboration with colleagues from all over the world that comes with this. And last but not least, the permanent employment contract.
What do you like best about your tasks?
My job involves a wide range of tasks and contact persons – this requires me to be a generalist! There are no fixed routines here. This combination makes the difference for me. In addition, I am also improving my language skills in German and English at the same time.
What is the most exciting project/topic that you have worked on?
The inauguration of our new showroom in 2012. There wasn't just one challenge to overcome for this event, but several, as it had to meet the demands of a wide-ranging guest list. From the trade press through to high-ranking guests from business and politics – everyone was there. When I think back to it, I also fill with the sense of pride in being part of the TRUMPF Group.
Do you have a personal highlight?
When I organize a delegation of customers for an event at TRUMPF in Germany, I of course take care of all the details, from the invitation to the return journey. Sometimes, though, there are also some special tasks here. I once spontaneously organised a visit to the Porsche Museum for a customer. We made a little dream come true for him unexpectedly. To this day he still talks about this great experience!
What do you value in particular in TRUMPF as an employer?
The values that TRUMPF has as a family business and also puts into practice. The innovative strength that the company pushes forward and, last but not least, the autonomy that we have as a subsidiary in France.
