With two cutting heads, the TruLaser 7040 produces parts in parallel, thereby achieving maximum productivity with the highest precision.
The TruLaser 7040 stands for absolute top performance in terms of productivity and accuracy. The extremely high-strength machine construction, linear direct drives, and high-resolution measurement systems ensure precision with the highest dynamics, over many years and over many operating hours. Even complex parts with numerous changes of direction and the highest precision requirements, such as saw blades, can still be cut optimally after long operating times. In medium and large sheet thicknesses, the dual head technology utilizes all of its capabilities; it creates a throughput plus of 70-80%. There is no other 2D laser cutting machine that operates more productively. At the same time, you can produce parts of excellent quality due to the CO2 laser.
The highest contour precision due to linear drives in all axes, as well as the direct measurement system integrated into guide rails.
Up to 100% more productivity through the simultaneous cutting with two cutting heads.
With the optional high dynamics package, increase the maximum dynamics from 20 m/s² to 25 m/s² with the same precision
Even complex contours can be processed fully automatically with two cutting heads.
You can achieve smooth edges and practically micro-burr-free processing with the CO2 laser and the BrightLine function.
With the CoolLine function, you can even create tight contours in thick mild steel.
The fast pallet changer enables virtually uninterrupted processes.
Working range of 1,250 mm x 2,500 mm or 2,500 mm x 4,000 mm depending on the machine.

High productivity and the best quality: Innovative functions guarantee the best processing results.
Process reliability

Mild steel becomes extremely hot during laser cutting and may melt uncontrollably. With CoolLine, this does not happen. During processing, the cutting head sprays water mist in a circle around the laser beam onto the workpiece. This is possible due to nozzles with precise bore holes. The vaporization energy of the water means that the material around the laser beam is cooled. CoolLine therefore enables new geometries and considerably increases process reliability in thick mild steel.
AdjustLine enables the easy adjustment of the cutting process to materials of different quality. The function increases process reliability, especially when cutting poor quality material. For you this means less scrap and lower material costs. The operator can switch AdjustLine on or off at any time – programming is not required.
The LensLine function monitors the condition of the lens during operation and reports when the cutting lens must be cleaned or replaced. You can therefore rely on perfectly coordinated cleaning cycles, increasing the service life of the lens. Lens cleaning based on need produces a time saving of over 40% and lowers consumption costs. The use of an RFID lens ("Radio Frequency Identification") ensures that only lenses with the correct focal length and correct mounting position are used.
Flexibility
The high sheet thickness range of the TruLaser 7040 means that the widest variety of parts can be created - each in top quality and with the highest precision, even in thick sheets.

Different lasers are available for your laser cutting machine depending on the power and productivity you require: The TruFlow 3200 (3.2 kW), the TruFlow 4000 (4kW) or the TruFlow 6000 (6kW).

The highest level of productivity can be achieved with two cutting heads which work simultaneously – increases of up to 100% are possible. Depending on your requirements, a version with only one cutting head is also possible.
Quality
With the optional high dynamics package, increase the dynamics from 787 in/s² to 984 in/s², drastically reducing the part processing time. Your machine operates with such process reliability that you can benefit completely from the high dynamics.

The BrightLine cutting procedure, the interaction between innovative components such as special optics and a flow-optimized nozzle, enables the highest quality cuts to be made in thick stainless steel and mild steel. Particularly in stainless steel, the BrightLine fusion cutting produces an especially high-quality cutting edge – a clear-cut mark of quality. This results in considerably less rework, or often even no rework at all. Thin sheets (0.08-0.12 in.) can be processed burr-free.

PierceLine monitors and controls the piercing process. This saves material and preserves the machine, increasing part quality and shortening the piercing time by up to 80%.
With maintenance-free linear drives on all axes (X, Y and Z), your laser cutting machine will always run quickly, dynamically, and with precision. You will achieve excellent results: Minimal positioning deviations of only 0.001 in. and a central positioning variation of only 0.0008 in. will provide you with maximum contour precision. Even after long operating times, the precision will remain as high as on the first day – due to the drive concept in combination with the measurement system and the high-strength machine construction.
The closed direct measuring system monitors the position of the axes particularly precisely – meaning you achieve maximum precision.
The thin sheet production package enables high-speed, compressed-air, and standard cutting. The machine works particularly quickly and cost-effectively in thin sheet.
Process reliability and operator support
The Dot Matrix Code function facilitates process reliable, fast part identification with a standardized industrial code. Within seconds, the laser in your flatbed laser machine applies a 2D code (data matrix) made out of dots onto a part. It contains information for the process chain. The code calls up the corresponding program at the next machine, for example.
With the MobileControl app, you can operate and monitor your machines easily and with flexibility as the app transmits the interface of the standard control panel onto the touch screen of your tablet PC. In addition to the static control panel, you therefore also have another option for monitoring and controlling your machine.
With Drop&Cut, the remainder sheet is utilized more easily, intuitively, and efficiently than ever. A camera ensures the live image of the machine interior appears directly on your user interface. You can position any number of part geometries on the remainder sheet. This saves time during the post-production of individual parts. Time-consuming process steps such as aligning the sheet, sheet position measurement or zero point displacement are not needed.

The operator can adapt the rotatable ergonomic control panel individually to their needs. Operation is simple with just a few buttons. The control panel is also attached so that is can be rotated. Setup work as well as process optimization are possible without a manual control unit. The keyboard and mouse are extendable and the operator can also use them if required.
Two cameras integrated into the machine interior monitor the process and can transfer images to your network. The operator is not tied to the machine to monitor the process – they can use production time for other tasks.
