    Fast and accurate marking

    The TruMark Series 6000 consists of three specialist lasers that have one thing in common: High power and outstanding beam quality. The marking lasers are available in various wavelengths – ideal for a wide range of materials. This makes the lasers truly high-performance tools. Metals, plastics, and ceramics can be processed with extremely abrasion-resistant and durable marking. Due to the high peak pulse power and high pulse-to-pulse stability, the TruMark Series 6000 marking lasers provide short processing times and outstanding marking precision. They are also extremely temperature-stable and have internal, software-controlled defocusing. At the same time, the lasers are easy to integrate and are equipped with a plug-in supply cable.

    Marking at double the speed

    The outstanding properties of the series mean that you can use up to two scanner optics per laser head. You can therefore mark at double the speed or, alternatively, from two sides. The dual-head systems set the benchmark when it comes to ultra-fast marking. You can choose whether both scanners should mark the same or different content.

    Robust technology

    Your marking laser will work with long-lasting consistency, even in continuous operation and at ambient temperatures of up to 113° F. You can rely on extremely short process times, outstanding marking precision, and consistent marking quality in the long term.

    Annealing with the TruMark Series 6000


    Local heat input is used to discolor the workpiece surface. The annealing color changes depending on the material and the energy input. The surface stays smooth, which means that dirt cannot be deposited.

    Engraving with the TruMark Series 6000


    During engraving, the laser beam removes part of the base material, thus creating a depression. This may have steep or beveled edges.

    If the material and laser wavelength are optimally matched, the dye molecules are deliberately discolored or faded. The surface remains smooth. In addition to metallic materials, organic substances such as wood or leather can also be processed with the TRUMPF marking lasers.

    Surface processing

    The laser can be used to structure surfaces for a specific function or to clean them. Rust, oil, or phosphate layers may be removed in preparation for subsequent processes.

    Structured surfaces

    The laser can be used to structure surfaces for a specific function. If the surface is structured with tiny melt elevations, significantly higher adhesion effects can be achieved with the same material properties. If interlocking components are structured after the addition of micro-depressions, the running characteristics improve significantly with the same quantity of lubricant.

    Laser ablation with the TruMark Series 6000


    Ablation partially removes thin top layers of multi-layer plastics which are applied to the basic material and have very different colors. This process can be used for the day and night design, for example, which is used in the automotive and other industries.

    Foaming of plastics with TruMark lasers


    During foaming, the laser heats the plastic to cause a short melting process. During the subsequent cooling process, small gas bubbles become trapped and diffuse the light that falls on them and is reflected. This type of laser marking produces a raised marking.

    Dual head system of the TruMark Series 6000
    Dual head system

    The "Asynchronous Beam Switch 90°" (ABX 90°) dual-head system enables asynchronous marking with two high-precision scanner heads. With this option, the marking fields are rotated 90° in relation to one another. This means that you can mark components from different sides.

    Pilot laser

    The pilot laser is used to simulate the marking content with a visible red light via a laser diode. You get an idea of the marking results in advance so you can position the component in the marking field even more easily.

    Focus finder

    The focus finder provides visual assistance for manually setting the correct working distance for the relevant application. It can be used for various focusing lenses.

    Additional focusing lenses

    There are many focusing lenses available in different focal lengths for all wavelengths of the TruMark Series. You can select the optimum combination of wavelength and focal length for every application.

    Variety of interfaces – for simple integration

    The interfaces determine how simple it is to integrate a laser in a machine or production line. The lasers in the TruMark Series 5000 can be connected to a Profibus/Profinet/EtherCAT network and controlled through this. External devices can also be connected and automation systems provided by the customer can be integrated. The IOE interface expansion offers 16 additional digital inputs and 16 digital outputs, as well as 8 digital high-speed inputs and 8 digital high-speed outputs for connecting external devices, and for integrating the laser in the automation systems.

    Operating package

    The operating package consists of a monitor and a keyboard with mouse. These are optimally designed for the needs of laser marking.

    TruTops Mark

    The TruTops Mark marking software makes marking with the TruMark lasers as easy as possible. The TruTops Mark program combines the marking software, CAD editor, management of laser parameters and interfaces, sequence programming with QuickFlow, and a diagnostics tool. An intuitive interface puts all the functions at your fingertips. You can easily draw and arrange graphic objects with the CAD editor. The database for laser parameters enables you to re-use optimized parameters many times over. You can use the QuickFlow sequence programming to create "drag and drop" programs that control the complete marking cycle from beginning to end. The diagnostics tool visualizes and analyzes the analog measured values recorded by its sensors.
