Induction tube welding

When welding laminate tubings, induction heating offers a number of advantages compared to hot-air welding. Induction welding protects the tube's surface and minimizes dissipated heat, while allowing for high throughput. The non-contact heating that is applied directly to the seam makes it possible to work with low process temperatures. Aluminum laminate - an aluminum film that is laminated on both sides with plastic - has a low packaging weight and good crushing characteristics. It can also be easily imprinted and is a reliable barrier against smells, tastes, humidity, oxygen and UV rays. In addition to aluminum, laminate tubes are also made of pure plastic laminates. These are welded indirectly by the induction heating of the welding jaws, which then glue the laminates together.
