Additive manufacturing: powders and parameters
TruPrint systems promise the highest standards of quality and productivity at attractive part costs. This is achieved by the interaction between high-quality metal powders and correspondingly optimized parameters. An extensive provision of parameters for numerous materials facilitates a quick introduction and a safe production. In addition, it is also possible to adapt parameters to individual requirements.
TruPrint systems are open which makes it possible for customers to use the powder of their choice. In order to achieve optimum process conditions and material properties, we recommend suitable metal powders from international powder suppliers with the highest quality standards. You will receive further information on the powders from our partners.

Materials for additive manufacturing
White paper
In the white paper, two of the most important stainless steels 316L or 1.4404 and AlSi 630 (also: 17-4 PH or 1.4542) are compared in terms of their most important properties with the novel AM powder Printdur HSA from Deutsche Edelstahlwerke. In comparison, the material Printdur HSA has very good corrosion properties (PREN index 34), performs well in terms of mechanical properties, and demonstrated a good combination of strength and ductility. The test was carried out with the TruPrint 2000; the results can be transferred to other TruPrint machines.
