Management Board

Peter Hoecklin, President & CEO

Peter Hoecklin joined TRUMPF in 2003 as director of purchasing in Ditzingen, Germany. He has served the company in Germany and Asia, most recently as President and Managing Director of TRUMPF (China) Co., Ltd. He held this position for seven years before joining TRUMPF Inc. as the President and CEO of the North American operations in July 2014.

Mr. Hoecklin holds an MBA, a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science, Applied & Engineering Physics, from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.

Burke Doar, Senior Vice President

Burke Doar joined TRUMPF Inc. in 2002 as vice president of customer services and became vice president of sales and marketing in 2003. He was promoted to senior vice president in June 2014. He holds a B.A. degree from Princeton University and a law degree from Albany Law School. Mr. Doar practiced law for four years before embarking on a career in manufacturing. Prior to joining the TRUMPF organization he held a sales management position at Ingersoll Milling Machine Company in Rockford, IL. 

Lutz Labisch, Vice President, Finance & Administration

Lutz Labisch joined TRUMPF in 2015 as director of group finance and controlling at the group headquarters in Ditzingen, Germany. He held the position for three and a half years before joining TRUMPF Inc. as vice president of finance and administration in 2019. Here he is responsible for financial and commercial related functions as well as information technologies for TRUMPF in North America.

Mr. Labisch attended the University of Karlsruhe where he obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering & Management. During this time, he also studied Industrial Operations & Management as a Fulbright Scholar for one year at the University of Michigan.

James Rogowski, Vice President, Technical Services

James Rogowski joined TRUMPF Inc. as an applications engineer in 1998. Since that time he has held various roles in product management before assuming the role of managing director of TRUMPF Canada in 2008. In 2011, Mr. Rogowski returned to TRUMPF Inc. as director of machine tools and power tools. He was appointed to his current role as vice president technical services in 2014. In this position, he is responsible for the customer service, spare parts and training departments.

Peter Hafner, Vice President Manufacturing

Peter Hafner is Vice President of Manufacturing at TRUMPF Inc.  His career with TRUMPF started in 1985 when he began working in the Machining Department in Ditzingen.  In 1996 Peter was transferred to the US and took over responsibility for the TRUMPF Inc. Machining Department. In 2001 his position grew to include the Sheet Metal Department as well. In August of 2011 Peter relocated to China where he was the Plant Manager until he returned to the US in 2015 as Director of Manufacturing.
