The bi-directional DC-DC converter TruConvert DC 1008 from TRUMPF Hüttinger was specially developed for use with redox flow batteries. It is suitable, however, for any other batteries, for example lithium-ion batteries or lead batteries. It stands out for its fast response time and very high efficiency, and enables the direct connection of low-volt batteries to the 3-phase alternating current network in conjunction with the TruConvert AC 3025.
