Participation terms and conditions

(TW) TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen SE + Co. KG​ (hereinafter referred to as "TRUMPF") is organising this competition (hereinafter referred to as "promotional campaign") as part of the MyTRUMPF promotion, specifically the Welcome Package for new TRUMPF customers. The following terms and conditions apply exclusively for participation in the competition.

Participation is open to all new TRUMPF customers (hereafter referred to as "promotional countries"). The competition starts in April 2024 and ends in December 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the "promotional period"). The prize draw is held once every three months, on the last day of the third month, (hereinafter referred to as the "draw date"). 

TRUMPF employees, employees of companies affiliated with TRUMPF and competition partners are not allowed to participate. 

To enter the competition, you must have a MyTRUMPF account and you need to complete the competition form.

TRUMPF is entitled to exclude individual participants from the promotional campaign if there are justified reasons for doing so. A justified reason exists in particular in the event of a violation of the conditions of participation, manipulating the promotional campaign or providing false information. To participate, all of the personal details you have provided must be accurate and correct. 

TRUMPF reserves the right to terminate or suspend the promotional campaign at any time without notice. This applies in particular to reasons which would disrupt or prevent the scheduled progress of the promotional campaign. If such a termination is caused by the conduct of a participant, TRUMPF shall be entitled to claim compensation from that person for the losses incurred. Participation in the competition is free of charge.
 

Every three months, a winner will be selected at random from all eligible participants who enter the competition during the promotional period.  The winner will receive a tablet and will be notified by email at the beginning of the month following the draw. The tablet will then be sent to the winner by post. 

TRUMPF solely collects, processes and uses personal data provided by participants to conduct the competition. The terms of the TRUMPF privacy notice apply accordingly.

Without prejudice to the legal grounds, TRUMPF can only be held liable if damage can be attributed to a culpable breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation) in a manner that impedes the achievement of the purpose of the contract or is due to intent or gross negligence. If, pursuant to the preceding paragraph, TRUMPF is liable for the breach of a material contractual obligation without deliberate intent or gross negligence, its liability shall be limited to the extent which TRUMPF could typically have expected to occur at the time the contract was concluded based on the facts known at that time. The foregoing limitations or exclusions of liability shall not apply in the event of culpable injury to life, limb or health, for liability claims under the Product Liability Act or in the event of a contractually agreed strict liability obligation, or if the relevant circumstance giving rise to the liability has been fraudulently concealed. If a participant's actions lead to the termination of the promotional campaign, TRUMPF reserves the right to seek compensation from that individual for any resulting losses

Participants are not legally entitled to the prize. Legal recourse is excluded. Participants are not legally entitled to win. The prize is not transferable to other persons and will not be paid out in cash. 

TRUMPF assumes responsibility for any tax-related implications of the prize in accordance with Section 37b of the Income Tax Act.
