TRUMPF reports increase in profit and order intake / Global demand for semiconductors and data centers boosts business / Leibinger-Kammüller: Optimistic outlook for the coming months despite geopolitical uncertainties

High-tech company TRUMPF SE + Co. KG presents figures for the fiscal year 2025/26: Sales roughly on par with the previous year at 4.3 billion euros, while order intake rose by nearly 7 percent to 4.5 billion euros. The EBIT margin increased significantly to 11.1 percent.

Ditzingen, October 15, 2026 – At the close of the fiscal year 2025/26 on June 30, 2026, the TRUMPF Group reported a slight increase in sales of 0.2 percent to 4.34 billion euros (previous year: 4.33 billion euros). After three fiscal years in decline, order intake increased again, rising by 6.6 percent to 4.5 billion euros (previous year: 4.2 billion euros). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose very significantly to 480 million euros (previous year: 59 million). The EBIT margin rose to 11.1 percent, up from 1.4 percent in the previous year.

Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller, CEO of TRUMPF, said during the presentation of the balance sheet: “The hard work we have done across the company to implement necessary cost reductions and streamline our portfolio is paying off. Increased order intake is particularly encouraging as we look ahead to the current fiscal year, in which we expect further growth. Despite global geopolitical tensions and trade restrictions, we remain cautiously optimistic about an economic upturn in our business. The positive trend of the past fiscal year has been clearly confirmed in the first quarter of the current 2026/27 fiscal year.”

TRUMPF sees significant opportunities in individual markets and business segments in the coming months. These include electromobility, semiconductors, and power electronics, as well as - in the machine tool sector - manufacturing technologies for equipping data centers, smart factory solutions, and services. Another area with great future potential is humanoid robotics. “Overall, we expect our customers to renew their machine fleets after a prolonged period of restraint and to make use of our connected manufacturing offerings in the process.”
