TRUMPF leaves crisis behind: Sales just above previous year, order intake rises by 7 percent / Leibinger-Kammüller: “Slight economic turnaround” / U.S. overtakes Germany as largest single market

High-tech company TRUMPF SE + Co. KG presents preliminary figures for fiscal year 2025/26: At approximately 4.3 billion euros, sales were in line with the prior-year level, while order intake rose by 7 percent to 4.5 billion euros.

Ditzingen, July 22, 2026 – TRUMPF has ended the fiscal year ahead of expectations. After three years of declining order intake and two years of falling revenue, the signs now point to a recovery. Preliminary calculations indicate that, in the fiscal year 2025/26 (ending June 30, 2026), the company generated sales of 4.34 billion euros, just above the prior-year level (2024/25 fiscal year: 4.33 billion euros), and recorded an order intake of 4.5 billion euros (previous year: 4.2 billion euros). In its forecast last fall, the company had anticipated stagnant to slightly rising order intake as well as declining sales revenue for the Group.

In the fiscal year under review, the United States once again became the strongest single market. TRUMPF recorded significant sales growth there. Sales increased by approximately 16 percent to about 760 million euros (previous year: 661 million euros). In TRUMPF’s home market of Germany, however, sales fell by 6 percent to around 660 million euros (previous year: 700 million euros). Despite another 7 percent decline in sales, China remained the strongest single market in Asia with sales of approximately 450 million euros (previous year: 482 million euros).

“The increase in order intake makes us optimistic about the current fiscal year, in which we expect further growth,” said TRUMPF CEO Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller. “While we must remain cautious, the developments of the past few months give us reason to believe that we’ve reached a slight economic turnaround in our business. Despite the challenging geopolitical conditions, TRUMPF has managed to grow across all business segments. This included the machine tool and laser businesses as well as electronics and EUV in collaboration with our partner ASML, which saw noticeable growth thanks to the significantly increased demand for semiconductors. The fact that the U.S. was once again the strongest single market – overtaking Germany for the first time in a while – demonstrates the growth momentum in many markets worldwide. In addition, we have made significant progress in key development projects such as laser-based drone defense.”

As of June 30, 2026, the number of TRUMPF employees across the Group totaled 16,960. Around 8,200 employees were working in Germany, with around 5,350 based at the headquarters in Ditzingen.

TRUMPF will publish the final figures, including earnings, at its annual press conference on October 15, 2026.
