Change in top-level management at TRUMPF’s Teningen location

Christof Lehner succeeds Reinhold Groß as managing director

Teningen; July 4, 2017 – Christof Lehner became managing director of TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen Teningen GmbH on July 1 – and is the first manager to be based on site. He succeeds Reinhold Groß, who had previously been in charge there in addition to being managing director of Sales and Services for the Machine Tools business division at parent company TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH + Co. KG in Ditzingen. The TRUMPF Group acquired the Teningen location, formerly EHT, in 2015 and has gradually integrated it over the past two years.

Christof Lehner joined TRUMPF back in 2002. After holding positions in Schramberg and Ditzingen, he most recently oversaw the company’s location in Detroit. A native of Munich, Lehner earned his PhD at the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management at the Technical University of Munich. His area of specialization is sales.

TRUMPF’s Teningen location develops and produces bending machines and guillotine shears, and assembles loading systems for TRUMPF laser tube cutting machines. The company specializes in machines for special applications – large-format bending machines, for instance. TRUMPF is also investing in the construction of a new assembly and storage facility. At its Teningen site, TRUMPF employs a workforce of some 130 employees, including 10 apprentices.
