Blechexpo 2023: TRUMPF relies on strong partners

Ditzingen, Germany, November 7, 2023 – High-tech company TRUMPF is increasingly incorporating solutions from partners into the strategy for its Machine Tools division. “Our customers have a diverse range of requirements, especially when it comes to automation and material handling. At Blechexpo, TRUMPF will be showcasing a new solution it developed for the systems supplier Kuipers in collaboration with automation specialist Starmatik. The solution features two robots from Starmatik which work simultaneously to load and unload the highly productive TruBend Center 7020 panel-bending machine from TRUMPF. This reduces the cycle time for loading by up to 50 percent. The machine itself includes new high-speed functionalities that can boost productivity by up to 30 percent. Equipped with this automation solution from Starmatik, the TruBend Center 7020 is one of the world’s fastest solutions for automated bending, offering efficient results for both volume production and prototypes. The Italian company Starmatik specializes in robotic automation systems for machines in the sheet-metal industry. The company has been working with TRUMPF in the field of automated bending cells since September 2021.
