Digitally controlled material flows help you to create transparency and save time. Resources are freed up and can be used where they bring real added value: On the machine, in the process, in value creation. With scalable hardware and software solutions such as the Oseon web apps, docking stations and automated guided vehicles, you can reliably control material movements along the entire sheet metal process chain. Whether manual or automated, you benefit from greater productivity.

Smart Material Flow - Factory flow solutions for smart sheet metal production from small to large
Are up to 40 % of your resources still being used for operations that do not produce parts, utilize machines or meet deadlines? Then it's time to rethink your material flow. With Smart Material Flow from TRUMPF, you can consistently reduce unproductive work: Fewer routes, fewer searches, fewer manual bookings. Instead, you gain transparency, speed and planning security. Our scalable intralogistics solutions structure your processes, create end-to-end transparency on the store floor and ensure that materials are in the right place at the right time. Whether manually organized, partially automated or fully networked - we accompany you every step of the way to an efficient, future-proof material flow.
Increase your overall system effectiveness through maximum machine availability and logistics that actively support processes instead of slowing them down. Optimized material flows reduce downtimes, shorten throughput times and ensure stable, predictable processes.
Whether digitally supported entry or targeted automation steps in the material flow - even small measures create noticeable efficiency gains. From flexible manufacturing to highly automated factories: Our solutions grow with your requirements.
Digital production control and clear processes are the first steps towards networked production. It grows as required with flexible docking stations, autonomous material interfaces and automated guided vehicles.
Make optimum use of your resources to ensure profitable sheet metal production despite a shortage of skilled workers and increasingly dynamic markets.
Digitalize the material flow – create added value
A smooth material flow ensures that machines run, employees work productively and deadlines are met. Unplanned effort, e.g. due to searching, waiting or manual operations, disrupts the entire shop floor. The consequence? Increasing part costs, decreasing profitability. TRUMPF supports you in making your factory flow more efficient, transparent and economical. Our sophisticated solutions fit directly into your everyday life.
Modular solutions pave the way for you to achieve smart material flow
- Automatisches Be- und Entladen inkl.
Good to know...
The term "factory flow" denotes the in-house material and inventory flow: from the delivery of the material on the company property to production and storage to the point when the finished product leaves the building again.
The central task of the factory flow is the in-house flow of material. The material is delivered, runs through different production steps and is placed in intermediate storage. For dispatch, the products are no longer part of the factory flow and are transferred back to the external logistic processes.
Automation is the key to an autonomous material flow, also called factory flow 4.0. Manufacturing systems receive an order and independently request the necessary material. More and more, they coordinate their material supply directly with automated guided vehicles.
