TRUMPF welcomes Singapore's Minister of Finance
Singapore, July 14, 2017 – Mr. Jörg Ellerkmann, Managing Director of TRUMPF Singapore welcomed Singapore's Minister for Finance Mr. Heng Swee Keat during his visit to Advanced Repair Technology Centre (ARTC), a research institute that links business together with politics and industry. The visit took place as part of TRUMPF Singapore's close cooperation with ARTC. A TruLaser Cell 7000 was purchased by ARTC with the intention of researching the potential applications of laser metal deposition in the aviation industry.
Both Mr. Jörg Ellerkmann and Mr. Heng Swee Keat exchanged ideas regarding laser metal deposition and the reputation of German technology. The visit was then concluded with a live demonstration of the TruLaser Cell 7000. TRUMPF Singapore is incredibly humbled that Mr. Heng Swee Keat posted his impressions on his Facebook.
