Sensor systems for surface processing
Whether used for laser hardening, laser cladding, or cleaning - many surface processing applications would be neither feasible nor cost-effective without sensor technology. This is because our sensor systems measure and control precisely those process variables that determine the outcome: During hardening and cladding, that variable is the temperature. It determines how hard and wear-resistant the material will be. During cleaning, it is the focus position and laser power that determine how much energy is delivered to each location. In both cases, the sensor systems make real time adjustments by transmitting measuring data to the control, which compensates for fluctuations before they lead to quality defects in the component.
One system. Everything from TRUMPF.
Tailored by us to ensure everything works seamlessly for you
Beam source
Our lasers deliver the optimum amount of energy to the process: for cutting, welding, marking, and micro- and surface processing.
Optics
Our optics shape and guide the laser beam, ensuring the precise and efficient application of energy exactly where it is required.
Sensor system
Our sensor systems keep an eye on the process: They assist with set up, maintain stable parameters during processing, and check the result at the end - ensuring that the laser and optics work together as intended.
