Peter Wennink has been the Chief Executive Officer of Dutch company ASML since 2013. The company produces lithography systems that can be used to manufacture state-of-the-art computer chips. These lithography systems contain not only optics from Zeiss, but also unique laser systems from TRUMPF. In the interview, Wennink explains why the entire world depends on European high technology and how important this is in the global competition. The CEO also comments on the next "super technology" and is convinced that companies like ASML will lay the foundation for breakthrough product innovations of the future.
