Complete part processing – post-processing is generally not required

The electro-hydraulic punching head completely processes parts, and for the most parts, makes downstream work steps unnecessary.

TruMatic 6000, part removal flap
Safe removal

You can remove parts in a process reliable way via sensor-protected punching and loading flaps.

TruMatic 6000, honeycomb component

Flexible forming

High quality outer contours and delicate inner contours: With the slim laser head of a TruMatic, you can cut very near to, or even on, forms which have already been created. You can also achieve unusual contours with process reliability. For this component, the following tools were used: cup tool, extrusion tool, tapping tool, embossing tool – symbol (underside of the sheet), bridge tool, MultiBend size 5, and positioning tool size 5.

TruMatic 6000, component flexibility

Wide range of contour flexibility

Process sheets up to 0.3 inches thick with a wide range of contour flexibility, including tapping, countersinking, and weld positioning. For this component, the following tools were used: embossing tool, countersink forming tool, tapping tool, center boss tool, special punching tool.

Technical data sheet

The technical data of all product versions as a download.

The TruMatic 6000 impresses with its outstanding beam quality, high level of contour precision, as well as optimum cut quality even for delicate contours. With its tried-and-tested functions, it also sets standards in terms of material handling.

Quality

TruMatic 6000, descending die
Descending die

The descending die enables scratch-free punching and forming processes. If required, the die can be lowered during positioning. The sheet then does not have any contact with the die – for both punching as well as higher forming dies. When forming downwards, there is no longer the risk of things getting caught.

TruMatic 6000, brush table
Ball tables or brush tables

For sensitive materials, which must not have any scratches underneath, you can use brush tables combined with the descending die. Parts which are to be subsequently painted, can also be processed on the handy ball table.

Process reliability

Smart functions: smart load

Smart load supports the alignment of the sheet on the machine. A sensor in the clamps detects when they do not grip the sheet correctly. If this is the case, the machine table, including sheet, moves.

Smart functions: smart unload

If a finished part does not fall through the part removal flap as expected, a sensor detects this and the machine rectifies this – the part is detached and is removed safely.

Smart functions: smart punch monitoring

Before the tool change, smart punch monitoring checks whether a hole was actually punched into the sheet. In this way, the machine detects at an early stage when punches are broken, and can pass this information on to the operator. This means that you can avoid rejects, particularly during night and weekend shifts.

Cost-effectiveness

Integrated flattening

During the punching of sheet metal, compression and tensile stresses are placed on the workpiece which can cause sheet deformation. The integrated flattening machine function and the corresponding tool make it possible to even out surface irregularities during the punching process itself.

Flexibility

MobileControl app

With the MobileControl app from TRUMPF you can operate and monitor your machines easily and with flexibility as the app transmits the interface of the standard control panel onto the touch screen of your tablet PC. In addition to the static control panel, you have another option for monitoring and controlling your machine.

Oversize format processing

The machine is available in a large and medium format. The large format enables processing in a working area of up to 120 x 60 in. This means even large parts can be processed and more part geometries are possible.

TruTops Boost

Construct and program your laser, punching, and combination punch laser machines intelligently with TruTops Boost, your all-in-one 3D solution. Numerous automated processes save you time-consuming routine processes and the joint nesting pool saves time and material. You also always have an overview of all manufacturing orders and order-based work.

Software

The extensive range of TruTops software supports you throughout the entire production process. Control your operational workflow in a simple and targeted manner, from managing your customer orders and purchasing processes to delivery of the produced parts. Through the direct coupling with the machine control, you can keep a constant eye on the status of your orders.

Offsetting roller tool

With the roller offsetting tool you can add straight and curved steps of any length to the sheet. It works at a very high processing speed.

MultiBend Extended

With the MultiBend Extended, you can create different bending lengths and heights in just one stroke. As such, you can bend parts up to 90° and a length of 3.5 in. directly on your machine.

Ejector MultiTool
Ejector MultiTool

Reliably separate your micro-joints. Remaining parts end up in the chip container through the die, without affecting process reliability.
