About TRUMPF in the U.S.

Lutz Labisch joined TRUMPF in 2015 as Director of Group Finance and Controlling at the group headquarters in Ditzingen, Germany. He held the position for three and a half years before joining TRUMPF Inc. as Vice President of Finance and Administration in 2019. In March 2022, he became President and CEO of TRUMPF Inc. and will also oversee TRUMPF operations in Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. 

Mr. Labisch attended the University of Karlsruhe where he obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering & Management. During this time, he also studied Industrial Operations & Management as a Fulbright Scholar for one year at the University of Michigan.

Bettina Steingruber joined TRUMPF in 2006 as a Controller and became Head of Finance and Controlling in 2013 at TRUMPF Austria. She was promoted to CFO Bending in 2016 and was responsible for accounting, business information services, contracts and outbound logistics, and oversaw the finances of the bending businesses for multiple TRUMPF subsidiaries. Ms. Steingruber was appointed Vice President of Finance and Administration of TRUMPF Inc. in 2022. She holds a Master of Social and Economic Sciences degree from Johannes Kepler University Linz in Austria. 

Peter Hafner is Vice President of Operations at TRUMPF Inc. His career with TRUMPF started in 1985 when he began working in the Machining Department in Ditzingen. In 1996 Mr. Hafner was transferred to the US and took over responsibility for the TRUMPF Inc. Machining Department. In 2001, his position grew to include the Sheet Metal Department as well. In August of 2011 Mr. Hafner relocated to China where he was the Plant Manager until he returned to the US in 2015 as Director of Manufacturing.
