TRUMPF closed the 2025/26 fiscal year on 30th June 2026 with an increase in order intake and a significantly higher profit than in the previous year. This gives us reason to be optimistic about the current fiscal year!

Our order intake rose by 7% to 4.5 billion euros compared with 2025 (4.2 billion euros), whilst revenue, at 4.3 billion euros, was only slightly higher than the previous year's level due to the economic climate, which remained subdued at the start of the fiscal year. Above all, however, profit improved significantly to 476 million euros, compared with 59 million euros in the previous year. The EBIT yield rose significantly from 1.4% to 11.0%.

We owe this excellent result to the streamlining of our portfolio, combined with a focus on high-margin products and business segments. And also consistent cost discipline. Through our joint efforts as a group, we have succeeded in achieving savings of over 600 million euros. That said, the past twelve months have certainly been stressful for the staff – I am deliberately avoiding an overused word like "challenging". Especially as we were forced to cut jobs around the globe. However, thanks to our crisis programme "Koyer", we have regained the stability and capacity to continue operations. This is a great achievement that we, as a company, can rightly be proud of!

Despite the challenging geopolitical environment, TRUMPF has remained a highly innovative company that is breaking new ground as part of its growth strategy. This includes the semiconductors business segment, to which this annual report is dedicated. Together with our global partners, the semiconductor market is a key growth driver for TRUMPF. Because, amidst all the excitement about AI and new business model ideas, one thing is sometimes overlooked: Outstanding hardware is also essential; without it, no chip in a smartphone, data centre or mobile network would work. TRUMPF rightly sees itself at the forefront of this movement: as an enabling force behind the digital future!

I hope you enjoy reading this and wish you God’s blessings, especially in the face of so many global challenges of our time.

Yours truly, Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller
