Structural frames, exhaust pipes, driver's cabs, brackets and angles in agricultural and construction machinery are made of sheet metal. This is a major advantage for customers from the cable car construction industry, as they mainly require project-specific components for skiing and hiking regions. For example, TRUMPF tools can prepare weld seams on contours for guide rollers on cable cars and chairlifts.

Manufacturers of rail vehicles need to produce large batch sizes, as many carriages are often manufactured simultaneously for a single order. TRUMPF beveling machines process long sheet metal parts for this purpose, while edge milling machines chamfer and round off contours. Customers also use the quick-to-deploy power tools for repairs and special conversions.
