What sets the TruDisk with a green wavelength apart
The TruDisk with a green wavelength welds copper faster and deeper than comparable lasers - with significantly lower energy input. With heat conduction welding, it achieves welding depths of up to 1.2 millimeters; with deep penetration welding of up to 2.5 millimeters. This helps you to reduce your welding times while maintaining the same quality.
Copper absorbs the green laser light particularly well, so very little heat reaches the component. As a result, the workpieces are hardly distorted or deformed, and the thermal radiation to surrounding components and materials is reduced to a minimum. This helps prevent rejects and meet strict safety requirements.
Two pluggable laser outputs allow for operation at separate processing stations: While you are welding at one processing station, you can already prepare the other for the next order. Depending on requirements, the stations operate sequentially at full laser power or simultaneously at reduced laser power.
The plug-in laser outputs can be connected and replaced via plug-and-play. With lengths of up to 20 meters, they also increase the flexibility of your production layout. The optional absorber also facilitates maintenance and remote diagnostics during operation.
You do not have to integrate the lasers, optics, and sensor system using separate controls and interfaces - the integrated TruControl control handles that for you. This allows you to centrally control the laser and optics, while the measured values of the sensors are fed directly into the control. This reduces the integration effort and keeps the process stable. The relevant process data is recorded, ensuring that your welding processes remain traceable even at a later date.
One system. Everything from TRUMPF.
A laser alone is not a solution. Only in combination with precise optics, intelligent sensor technology and tailor-made services can a system be created that makes your applications possible and ensures reliable processes. With TRUMPF, you have a partner who not only supplies technology, but also reliable process results - solutions that measurably advance your production and pay off through sustainable success.
Optics
Guide and focus the laser beamOverview
Optics focus the laser beam precisely onto the workpiece - exactly at the point where the processing takes place. TRUMPF offers two variants for this:
Classic processing optics (BEO) focus a laser beam on a fixed processing point. To cover the processing surface, either the optics or the workpiece must be moved.
Programmable focusing optics (PFO) use mirrors to flexibly direct the laser beam to any position in the processing field - without any mechanical movement of the workpiece or optics.
All optics can be combined via an interface with various sensors for process monitoring - from TRUMPF or third-party suppliers.

Sensor systems
Monitor, control, document in real timeOverview
Whether it is welding, marking, or surface processing - our sensor systems measure, control, and document the factors that determine the quality of your laser processes: They detect the position of each component, control the laser power, focus, and temperature, and inspect the seam or marking. Fully documented and traceable. And because they use the same control as our lasers, they are ready for use without any integration effort. Find out here which system is right for your application.
VisionLine
During welding, VisionLine ensures that the weld is precise and meets your specifications: It assists with setup, detects the position of each component, and inspects the weld seam down to the welding depth - even in places the human eye cannot reach. This is how you achieve consistent results, seam by seam.
CalibrationLine
CalibrationLine keeps laser parameters stable over time: It continuously measures laser power and focus, and detects early on when, for example, contamination or maintenance has caused the values to shift. The control automatically makes adjustments before component quality is compromised. For processes that continue to run in synchronization even after weeks.
