What sets TruDisk apart
The integrated, active laser power control of the TruDisk ensures reproducible results. With a brilliant beam quality of up to 2 mm▪mrad, the TruDisk operates with extreme precision. With a power spectrum from 1 to 16 kW, you have complete flexibility and can achieve optimum results.
Thanks to its patented resonator design, your TruDisk can even process highly reflective materials without compromise. At the same time, it operates reliably without any consumables and performs well even under extreme environmental conditions.
Multiple energy-saving modes and the power factor correction reduce the power requirement.
The TruDisk offers two smart cooling options - choose between the standard model with an integrated heat exchanger (up to 28 degrees supply temperature) and the optional integrated compressor cooler (up to 38 degrees supply temperature). Select the appropriate variant based on the temperature of your domestic hot water - no external chiller is required.
With BrightLine Weld you can achieve high-quality welding seams with minimal spatter formation. Thanks to the higher feed rate, you can significantly increase your productivity. At the same time, the amount of post-processing work decreases, which significantly reduces your operating costs.
Further advantages
-
Integrated beam guidance for maximum laser utilization
Perfectly tailored to your system design, the new generation of TruDisk lasers can be equipped with up to 4 laser outputs. Beam guidance is integrated into the laser housing. Using multiple laser outputs allows you to increase laser utilization, reduce part costs, and improve system availability. -
Maximum performance stability for reproducible results
Instead of manual control, the power can be adjusted in real time. This allows you to benefit from the highest performance stability on the market - throughout the entire service life of your TruDisk. This results in completely reproducible results around the clock.
One system. Everything from TRUMPF.
A laser alone is not a solution. Only in combination with precise optics, intelligent sensor technology and tailor-made services can a system be created that makes your applications possible and ensures reliable processes. With TRUMPF, you have a partner who not only supplies technology, but also reliable process results - solutions that measurably advance your production and pay off through sustainable success.
Optics
Guide and focus the laser beamOverview
Optics focus the laser beam precisely onto the workpiece - exactly at the point where the processing takes place. TRUMPF offers two variants for this:
Classic processing optics (BEO) focus a laser beam on a fixed processing point. To cover the processing surface, either the optics or the workpiece must be moved.
Programmable focusing optics (PFO) use mirrors to flexibly direct the laser beam to any position in the processing field - without any mechanical movement of the workpiece or optics.
All optics can be combined via an interface with various sensors for process monitoring - from TRUMPF or third-party suppliers.
PFO 33 (12 kW)
High-performance 2D scanner optics for demanding requirements on large processing surfaces.
- Proven industry standard: The most frequently used scanner optics for many applications.
- Powerful: Ideal for deep weld seams and high removal rates.
- Process-synchronized quality assurance: Enables reliable and precise welding depth monitoring thanks to OCT technology.
- High speed thanks to lightweight mirrors and optimized galvo architecture.
Processing field: 80 × 57 to 570 × 370 mm²
PFO 20
Compact 2D scanner optics for welding and cleaning on small processing surfaces.
- Cost-effective entry into remote welding and ideal for smaller components or rooms.
- Most dynamic PFO thanks to particularly light mirrors and optimized galvo architecture.
Processing field: 49 × 36 to 320 × 237 mm²
BEO D35
Compact, lightweight precision optics for fine machining.
- Ideal for welding and laser precision cutting thanks to precise machining.
- Easy integration into existing systems thanks to compact design and low weight.
- Can be combined with our smart sensor systems
also available as bifocal
Sensor systems
Monitor, control, document in real timeOverview
Whether it is welding, marking, or surface processing - our sensor systems measure, control, and document the factors that determine the quality of your laser processes: They detect the position of each component, control the laser power, focus, and temperature, and inspect the seam or marking. Fully documented and traceable. And because they use the same control as our lasers, they are ready for use without any integration effort. Find out here which system is right for your application.
VisionLine
During welding, VisionLine ensures that the weld is precise and meets your specifications: It assists with setup, detects the position of each component, and inspects the weld seam down to the welding depth - even in places the human eye cannot reach. This is how you achieve consistent results, seam by seam.
Temperature control
The temperature control ensures the correct heat input: It measures the temperature in the process zone using a pyrometer and provides the values that the control uses to adjust the energy flow. For applications where every degree counts - from plastic welding to laser cladding and surface hardening.
Services for maximum system availability
to keep your production runningOverview
How much standstill can you afford? Production downtime costs time, money - and, in the worst case, customers. To ensure that your lasers and laser systems remain operational in the long term, we support you with sophisticated services. This includes predictive condition monitoring, rapid assistance in the event of an emergency and individual service packages at fixed, predictable costs - tailored precisely to your needs.
Smart View for lasers and laser systems
Keep an eye on all relevant data: With Smart View, you can create individual dashboards with precisely the information and key figures that are crucial for the optimal use of your lasers and laser systems - from performance data to statuses and energy consumption through to program changes.
