What makes the TruMicro Series 7000 special
With pulse energy of up to 200 mJ, the lasers in the TruMicro Series 7000 offer the highest pulse energy in the nanosecond range across the entire TRUMPF portfolio, positioning them at the forefront of the market. This enables you to achieve a very high material removal rate per pulse, allowing even large machining areas to be structured and cleaned quickly.
The High Peak Power option allows high pulse energies to be transmitted even through longer laser light cables, which are required for robotic applications. This provides you with significantly higher peak pulse power at the workpiece. The technology can be easily retrofitted to existing systems.
Up to four plug-in laser outputs provide you with maximum flexibility. You can split the laser beam and use it to perform the same process multiple times simultaneously – for example, to process a component from different sides using multiple optics. The beam split can be freely configured to meet your requirements. You save space and enjoy maximum flexibility with the integration of the laser into your production process.
The TruMicro Series 7000 provides you with a proven laser that you can easily integrate into various machine concepts using industrial interfaces. The laser light cables and the programmable focusing unit (PFO) are perfectly matched and offer a wide range of safety features. For example, smart sensors detect incorrectly connected or damaged cables and automatically deactivate the laser – ensuring safe, uninterrupted production.
Depending on the application, you can use up to four plug-in laser light cables with lasers from the TruMicro Series 7000. A variety of geometries allow you to adjust the shape and size of the focal spot on the workpiece and optimally tailor the energy to the specific application. With cable lengths of up to 30 metres, you have maximum flexibility when planning your system, such as when using robots.
The TruMicro Series 7000 has an IP54 protection rating and is equipped with a fully enclosed housing. This ensures stable processes and high system availability even under extreme industrial production conditions, such as humidity, dust, or temperatures of up to 32 degrees at 100% humidity.
Further advantages
-
Developing processes with experts
At our Laser Application Center, experienced application engineers at locations in Germany, Korea, China, Japan, and the USA develop process parameters for your specific application using TRUMPF laser systems under real production conditions. This helps you to reduce development risks and ensure you have an optimal process solution. -
Available for worldwide delivery at any time
Thanks to its high production capacity, TRUMPF ensures that TruMicro Series 7000 lasers are available worldwide at short notice. This allows you to flexibly plan the expansion of existing machines or the addition of new machines – with support, if needed, from TRUMPF’s global service team, which is available to you around the clock.
One system. All TRUMPF
A laser on its own is not a solution. Only when combined with precise optics, intelligent sensors and bespoke services can a system be created that makes your applications possible and ensures reliable processes. In TRUMPF, you have a partner who not only delivers technology, but reliable process results – solutions that tangibly advance your production and pay off through sustainable success.
Optics
Guide and focus the laser beamOverview
Optics focus the laser beam precisely on the workpiece – exactly at the point where processing takes place. TRUMPF offers two variants here:
Traditional laser focusing optics (BEO) focus a laser beam on a fixed processing point. To cover the processing surface, either the optics or the workpiece must be moved.
Programmable focusing optics (PFO) flexibly direct the laser beam to any position in the processing field with the help of mirrors – without any mechanical movement of the workpiece or optics.
All optics can be combined via an interface with various sensors for process monitoring – from TRUMPF or third-party suppliers.
