What makes the TruDisk special
The TruDisk's integrated, active laser power control ensures reproducible results. With a brilliant beam quality of up to 2 mm▪mrad, the TruDisk operates with extreme precision. With a power range of 1 to 16 kW, you have complete flexibility and can achieve optimal results.
Thanks to its patented resonator design, your TruDisk can process even highly reflective materials without compromising performance. At the same time, it operates reliably without any wear parts and performs well even under extreme environmental conditions.
Multiple energy-saving modes and the power factor correction reduce the power requirement.
The TruDisk offers two smart cooling options – choose between the standard version with an integrated heat exchanger (up to 28 degrees inlet temperature) and the optional integrated compressor cooler (up to 38 degrees inlet temperature). Depending on the temperature of your domestic hot water, choose the appropriate model – no external chiller is required.
With BrightLine Weld you can achieve high-quality welding seams with minimal spatter formation. Thanks to the higher feed rate, you can significantly increase your productivity. At the same time, the amount of post-processing decreases – which significantly reduces your operating costs.
Further advantages
-
Integrated beam guidance - for maximum laser utilisation
Perfectly tailored to your system design, the new generation of TruDisk lasers can be equipped with up to 4 laser outputs. The beam guidance is integrated into the laser housing. Using multiple laser outputs allows you to increase laser utilisation, reduce part costs, and improve system availability. -
Maximum performance stability for reproducible results
Instead of manual control, the power can be controlled in real time. You therefore benefit from the greatest power stability on the market – throughout the entire service life of your TruDisk. This means completely reproducible results around the clock.
One system. All TRUMPF
A laser on its own is not a solution. Only when combined with precise optics, intelligent sensors and bespoke services can a system be created that makes your applications possible and ensures reliable processes. In TRUMPF, you have a partner who not only delivers technology, but reliable process results – solutions that tangibly advance your production and pay off through sustainable success.
Optics
Guide and focus the laser beamOverview
Optics focus the laser beam precisely on the workpiece – exactly at the point where processing takes place. TRUMPF offers two variants here:
Traditional laser focusing optics (BEO) focus a laser beam on a fixed processing point. To cover the processing surface, either the optics or the workpiece must be moved.
Programmable focusing optics (PFO) flexibly direct the laser beam to any position in the processing field with the help of mirrors – without any mechanical movement of the workpiece or optics.
All optics can be combined via an interface with various sensors for process monitoring – from TRUMPF or third-party suppliers.
PFO 33 (12 kW)
High-powered 2D scanner optics for challenging requirements on large processing surfaces.
- Proven industry standard: The most commonly used scanner optics for many applications.
- Powerful: Ideal for deep weld seams and high ablation rates.
- Process- synchronous quality assurance: Enables reliable and precise welding depth monitoring thanks to OCT technology.
- High speed thanks to lightweight mirrors and optimised galvo architecture.
Processing field: 80 × 57 to 570 × 370 mm²
PFO 20
Compact 2D scanner optics for welding and cleaning on small processing surfaces.
- Cost-effective entry into remote welding, and ideal for smaller components or spaces.
- Ultra-dynamic PFO thanks to very light mirrors and optimised galvo architecture.
Processing field: 49 × 36 to 320 × 237 mm²
BEO D35
Compact, lightweight precision optics for fine processing.
- Ideal for welding and laser precision cutting thanks to precise processing.
- Easy integration into existing systems thanks to compact and lightweight design.
- Can be combined with our smart sensor systems
Also available as a bifocal option
Sensor systems
Monitor, control, document – in real timeOverview
Whether it’s welding, marking, or surface processing – our sensor systems measure, control, and document the factors that determine the quality of your laser processes. They detect the position of each component, keep the laser power, focus, and temperature under control, and inspect the weld or marking. Fully documented and traceable. And because they use the same control as our lasers, they are ready for use without any integration work. Find out here which system is right for your application.
VisionLine
During welding, VisionLine ensures that the weld is precise and meets your specifications: It assists with setup, detects the position of each component, and inspects the weld seam down to the penetration depth – even in places the human eye cannot reach. This enables you to achieve consistent results, seam by seam.
Temperature control
The temperature control ensures the correct heat input. It measures the temperature in the process zone using a pyrometer and provides the values that the control uses to adjust the energy flow. For applications where every degree counts – from plastic welding to laser deposition welding and surface hardening.
Services for maximum system availability
