Separating and sorting on autopilot

Gain a clear competitive advantage and automate time-consuming and costly processes – simply, reliably and with true innovation. With no programming required. From complex part geometries to sheet thicknesses of 25 mm: our all-in-one sorting solution can handle even the most diverse range of parts. Benefit from an increased machine utilisation rate, reduced operator involvement and overall lower part costs, even for small lot sizes. The SortLine, SortMaster Station and SortMaster Vision product line – the only solution of its kind on the market. It ensures smooth production without tilted parts or collisions, significantly reducing work time – even during manual sorting. Automated, process-reliable sorting paves the way for unattended shifts.

SortMaster Station: Goodbye scrap skeleton, hello efficiency

The SortMaster Station separates all parts from the scrap skeleton. This eliminates the need for time-consuming and uncomfortable manual sorting. The SortLine cutting optimisation is applied prior to the actual separation process. This includes strategies to stop parts tipping and optimise the cutting of punching slugs and scrap. This largely eliminates the risk of collisions and part damage. The SortMaster Station cuts parts fully automatically, ensuring process reliability regardless of their geometry. The once unergonomic and hazardous scrap handling process is now fully automated. The separated parts are provided at a sorting station. This saves time, provides an overview, prevents errors and makes it easier to grip the parts. This reduces sorting time by 50%.

Separation with process reliability

Parts are safely and automatically separated from the scrap skeleton, regardless of their shape and size.

Parallelisation of processes

Decoupling the sorting process from the laser cutting machine increases the machine utilisation rate.

Ergonomic operation

Avoids unergonomic and hazardous manual handling of scrap skeleton.

Time savings

Reduces manual sorting time by over 50%, which significantly reduces employee workload.

The entire system

1. Optimised laser cutting

SortLine prevents parts from tipping and tilting, and optimises the cutting of punching slugs and scrap. This ensures the sheets are optimally prepared for separation and sorting.

2. High-quality laser cutting

The TruLaser 5030 fiber is a productive machine. A range of assistance systems and intelligent functions guarantees perfect results from the very first part.

3. A new approach to separation

The SortMaster Station separates all parts from the scrap skeleton. This eliminates the need for time-consuming and unergonomic manual sorting. The scrap skeleton is ejected under the SortMaster Station.

4. Quick manual sorting

By providing the parts without a scrap skeleton, they are easier to grip, and machine operators gain a quicker overview.

5. Sorting on autopilot

SortMaster Vision automatically identifies, records and sorts parts up to 25 mm without any programming. It reacts in real time to the position of the parts.

6. Everything in a single flow

Parts are sorted according to the production plan or individually defined criteria. This ensures that the manufacturing solution is seamlessly integrated into the material flow.
