TRUMPF Strengthens Its Operations in Mexico and Appoints Pedro Henriques as Managing Director
Monterrey, México, February 23, 2026 – As the manufacturing industry in Mexico expands and grows as a production hub for domestic consumption and exports, TRUMPF has announced the appointment of Pedro Henriques as the new Managing Director of TRUMPF Mexico to lead the company’s next phase of growth in the country.
Mexico has established itself as one of the leading manufacturing centers in the Americas, driven by supply chain relocation, export momentum, and increasing demand for advanced technological solutions. In this environment, TRUMPF aims to strengthen its local presence by supporting industrial customers with innovation, technology, and specialized services.
In his new role, Henriques will be responsible for operations in the country, which includes more than 140 employees across Mexico. He will oversee production, as well as commercial and service activities related to the company’s machine tool and industrial laser technology portfolio.
With more than 28 years of international business experience, Henriques most recently led teams and operations at TRUMPF Portugal, where he drove sustained business growth, strengthened relationships with industrial customers, and fostered an organizational culture focused on innovation and productivity.
“Mexico is a key player in global manufacturing. My priority will be to translate technology into measurable productivity: improved operational timelines, greater efficiency, and closer collaboration so our customers can adopt advanced manufacturing capabilities in a practical and profitable way,” said Pedro Henriques.
The appointment reflects the growth and increasing relevance of the Mexican market in the global manufacturing and technology industries, as well as the need to continue promoting solutions that enhance competitiveness, efficiency, and sustainability among industrial companies. For TRUMPF, the country represents a strategic opportunity to continue expanding innovation and production capabilities across the region.
Henriques will report to Burke Doar, Executive Vice President of TRUMPF Inc., while Lutz Labisch, President & CEO of TRUMPF Inc., will continue overseeing the company’s operations in the Americas
