Laser Diodes and Pump Modules

Single-emitter laser diodes are well suited for pumping fiber lasers for industrial and scientific applications. In addition, we offer diode chips specifically tailored for the rigorous environmental requirements in automotive LiDAR applications. TRUMPF offers wavelengths from 790 nm to 1100 nm. Laser diodes are available as arrays (bars), unmounted chips and mounted on ceramic submounts.

Laser diode bars are well suited for pumping solid state lasers for industrial, additive manufacturing and scientific applications. Diode bars are available unmounted and mounted on coolers using our proprietary cooler and bonding technology. TRUMPF offers wavelengths from 790 nm to 1100 nm.

Free running and wavelength locked single-emitter based modules from 100 W to 600 W of pump power into 100 µm to 230 µm fiber cores. Diodes use TRUMPF’s unique facet technology with industry-leading high relaibility to unlock applications with the highest reliability needs.

Options in vertical stacks, and stack arrays at multi-kW power levels. Available in a variety of form factors they enable applications in secondary source pumping, directed energy and materials processing. With a broad wavelength range from 870 nm to 1100 nm we enable a multitude of industries.
