Product Variants

Power scaling with diode size

We offer lasers with various emitter width options from 100 µm to 320 µm emitter width and optical power ranging from 10 W to 45 W. This is a workhorse chip which has proven high reliability in industrial applications. Standard wavelengths are 950 nm and 970 nm. Alternate wavelengths are available upon request.

High brightness diodes

Our brightness improvement technology enables efficient coupling of chip output into smaller fiber core diameters. This series includes chips especially developed to increase brightness at the same power levels as older generations. Combined with TRUMPF’s proprietary facet passivation technology these laser diodes have industry leading reliability for high optical power loads on the laser facet. Standard wavelength is 970 nm. Alternate wavelengths are available upon request.

High-temperature operation diodes

Our high temperature stable laser diode is designed for pumping fiber lasers for automotive LiDAR applications. Its unique design enables > 50% electro-optical efficiency at 105 °C operation. Combined with TRUMPF’s proprietary facet passivation technology and automated manufacturing processes, these laser diodes meet the high reliability requirements of the automotive industry. Available in 100 µm, 150 µm, 200 µm emitter widths. Standard wavelength is 970 nm. Alternate wavelengths are available upon request.
