Reliable vertical diode laser stacks and two-dimensional arrays for direct-diode and solid-state laser pumping in applications including security and defense, medical, hair removal, fusion, and welding.

Scalable power levels

Powers from 100 W/bar to 1 kW/bar with options on number of bars per stack, bar-to-bar pitch and integrated optics for beam shaping.

Made in USA

Manufactured in the USA in our plant with an integrated epitaxy growth, wafer and bar fabrication, and assembly floor. Having all functions in-house allows for greater control on quality and lead times.

Product Variants

Surface mountable laser stacks (SUMO)

Stacks suitable for surface mounting where electrodes are on the side of the emitting area.


These compact pump sources for high energy lasers have a flexible design with the ability to scale the number of bars per stack and increase peak powers.


This conduction cooled stack is designed for low duty cycle (< 1%) operation and can provide > 5 kW peak power  depending on the operating mode. 


We work with you to design a form factor – size, pitch, laser power, heat load, beam quality, optics – to meet your requirements. 

High-density configurable laser stacks (HIDEC)

These stacks are specially designed to enable high-density 2-D array stacking with the cooling and electrical connections under the emitting area.


This stack is designed for low duty cycle (< 1%) operation and can provide very high peak powers (1 kW/bar) and with a small bar-to-bar pitch. The build standard allows it to achieve high lifetime and performance levels for the most demanding applications.  Available in both conduction cooled and water-cooled formats.
