Our long-life UV laser

MAKE CONTACT

TruMark 3330

– Gentle on materials and precise

Our TruMark 3330 is characterized by an exceptionally long service life. It is ideal for processing a wide range of materials - including plastics without additives as well as temperature-sensitive and flame-retardant materials. By shifting the focus position, you can mark workpieces on different levels without moving the laser head.

What makes the TruMark 3330 special

– Its special features at a glance
Lasts longer than other UV lasers

The UV crystal inside the TruMark 3330 is larger than that of its competitors. In addition, the "Micro Mover" motor developed by TRUMPF moves it so that the laser alternately hits different points. Both ensure that you benefit from a long service life and durability.

Easy to integrate, easy to maintain

Thanks to a plug-in laser light cable, the TruMark 3330 can be easily integrated into any production line and replaced via plug-and-play. This reduces machine downtimes to a minimum.

No cracks or burrs

The TruMark 3330 generates less heat during processing than infrared laser systems. This minimizes the risk of cracks and burrs in the material - and enables the processing of sensitive and flame-retardant plastics as well as glass for use in critical areas such as medical technology.

All in one turnkey device

Do you want a system that meets your specific requirements but is ready for immediate use? The TruMark 3330 contains all the important components such as interfaces, scanners, software and laser-safe housing - and can be integrated into comprehensive control concepts.

Further advantages

  • Safe and reliable with PLe

The TruMark 3330 fulfills the highest safety Performance Level e (PLe). Redundant safety systems and fast error detection increase your safety in production - without additional measures on the laser.
  • Customized operation

The TruTops Mark Module Interface (TTM-MI) allows you to customize the software of the laser to your needs. This allows you to seamlessly connect the laser to your production systems, such as your database.

The TruMark 3330 in use

– What you can expect

In your production line, you will work with a wide variety of materials - from plastics to non-ferrous metals. Thanks to its short laser wavelength, the TruMark 3330 enables you to mark and cut a wide range of materials precisely and gently - for example, products from the semi-conductor and electrical industries or medical technology.

High-contrast day/night design

High-contrast day/night design

You want to apply markings to multilayer plastics that are easy to read in day and night, for example for components in the automotive industry. To do this, you must ablate parts of the top, opaque film.

With the TruMark 3330, you can precisely remove individual areas of a layer - without damaging the areas outside the marking or the layers underneath.

Markings on flame-retardant plastics

Markings on flame-retardant plastics

Marking flame-retardant plastics is difficult with the infrared wavelength typically used in the marking range and usually leads to surface damage.

The TruMark 3330 uses an ultraviolet wavelength with high-energy photons. This allows you to create markings with a very high edge definition on a wide variety of plastics, while the surface of the material remains smooth.

Fast foaming of plastics

Fast foaming of plastics

You need a laser with which you can mark plastics by foaming within a short time, for example on circuit breakers in the electronics industry.

The TruMark 3330 can foam plastics through rapid, precise heating in such a way that gas bubbles are created, which are trapped during subsequent cooling and diffusely reflect incident light. This creates a whitish contrast on the workpiece.

One system. Everything TRUMPF.

– Discover available components and services for this laser

A laser alone is not a solution. Only in combination with precise optics, intelligent sensor technology and tailor-made services can a system be created that makes your applications possible and ensures reliable processes. With TRUMPF, you have a partner who not only supplies technology, but also reliable process results - solutions that measurably advance your production and pay off through sustainable success.
