The purist
For those who are not looking for a complete package, but simply for a reliable laser, the TruFiber G series delivers everything integrators need for precise cutting and welding – it is compact, cost-effective and reliable. You can easily integrate the laser into your cutting and welding machines and rely on the time-tested quality of TRUMPF. We also use the TruFiber G in our 2D laser cutting machines of the TruLaser Series 1000.
What sets the TruFiber G apart
The TruFiber G is designed especially for cost-aware integrators and beginners – with a focus on the essential elements of performance and safety at an attractive price.
With active power regulation, the laser power remains stable at 100% throughout the entire service life. The system automatically monitors and regulates the output power – for consistently high processing quality.
Application-specific beam shaping options optimise your results. With VariMode, you adjust the beam profile to the thickness of the material to be cut. BrightLine Mode achieves high-quality weld seams with minimal spatter formation.
The TruFiber G meets the highest safety standards – up to PLe, depending on the model – and is supported worldwide by our TRUMPF service network. Integrators and operators benefit from 24/7 support and fast response times.
The TruFiber G in use
The TruFiber G series is the ideal choice for those who design their own manufacturing solutions. Whether cutting or welding – the lasers reliably deliver the necessary power for your machines. And with outstanding beam quality of up to 3 kW in singlemode or as a multimode fibre laser with powers of up to 12 kW. The TruFiber G is a reliable, high-quality and competitive laser source that is also compatible with hardware such as third-party focusing optics.
The laser component for your machines
The laser component for your machines
Laser cutting and welding on an industrial scale requires a reliable beam source with high availability. It must be possible to integrate new devices quickly, because failures and process breaks cost valuable time and money.
The TruFiber G delivers stable performance, is readily available worldwide and complies with the highest safety standards. And when it matters most, our global Technical Service network keeps your production running.
Laser cutting of thin and thick sheet metals
Laser cutting of thin and thick sheet metals
When processing thin materials, lasers must be able to ablate sufficient material despite narrow kerfs. For thicker materials, they must produce clean cuts even at high power.
In singlemode, TruFiber G fibre lasers achieve the ideal beam strength for cutting materials with a thickness of 1 mm or less – for example, thin brass sheets. In multimode, they cut sharp, high-quality bends with a spot diameter of 100 µm, even with thicker metals.
One system. All TRUMPF.
A laser on its own is not a solution. Only when combined with precise optics, intelligent sensors and bespoke services can a system be created that makes your applications possible and ensures reliable processes. In TRUMPF, you have a partner who not only delivers technology, but reliable process results – solutions that tangibly advance your production and pay off through sustainable success.
Optics
Guide and focus the laser beamOverview
Optics focus the laser beam precisely on the workpiece – exactly at the point where processing takes place. TRUMPF offers two variants here:
Traditional laser focusing optics (BEO) focus a laser beam on a fixed processing point. To cover the processing surface, either the optics or the workpiece must be moved.
Programmable focusing optics (PFO) flexibly direct the laser beam to any position in the processing field with the help of mirrors – without any mechanical movement of the workpiece or optics. All optics can be combined via an interface with various sensors for process monitoring – from TRUMPF or third-party suppliers.
BEO D35
Compact, lightweight precision optics for fine processing.
- Ideal for welding and laser precision cutting thanks to precise processing.
- Easy integration into existing systems thanks to compact and lightweight design.
