Blade tip repair using hybrid production

Air conditioning and energy technology Aviation and aerospace TruPrint Aluminium Titanium Tool steel Additive Manufacturing

"Preform Basic" enables hybrid production on conventionally manufactured preforms and on existing parts. You can use the HMI to position the geometry to be printed on top of the existing part. You can visualise the precision fit via the Powder Bed Monitoring camera. Use this option for the sustainable reprocessing of individual parts. In this case, a used blade can be repaired cost-effectively, with minimal reworking and a simple workflow.
