The pivoted-jaw gripper enables the automated bending of small components. Its linear and rotary axes reduce time-consuming regripping. For large parts, TRUMPF offers numerous grippers with vacuum technology, including multiple-circuit suction cups that can be individually controlled and multi-grippers that can be individually adjusted.

Multigripper small on the TruBend Cell 5000

The adjustable multigripper small is suitable for smaller parts. Quick-release fasteners enable you to adjust it to the part in a few simple steps. With its 180-degree rotation unit, it also significantly reduces valuable cycle time when bending nests.

ToolMaster

You can set up your bending machine automatically for each new program with the automatic ToolMaster tool change system, thereby increasing the machine utilisation rate.

Multigripper

The adjustable multigripper, part of the latest generation of the TruBend Cell 5000, makes complex gripper construction a thing of the past. You can create your gripper configuration in just a few minutes in the TRUMPF offline programming system. Using the setup plan, the multigripper can be adapted to the component geometry in just a few steps. You benefit from significantly reduced non-productive times and your personnel is available for activities that actually add value.

Gripper changing console

The console enables autonomous gripper changes as well as the automatic processing of various orders, all without manual intervention.

Conveyor belt

The conveyor belt removes small parts that cannot be stacked.

Pallet conveyor

The pallet conveyor loads blanks or unloads finished workpieces without interrupting the bending operation.

Sheet removal station

The sheet removal station can separate and produce up to four component types parallel to production in a single operation.

Automated guided vehicle on the TruBend Cell 5000

Interface for automated guided vehicle systems

The interface for connected material flow enables automatic loading and unloading of the bending cell by an automated guided vehicle (AGV), without the need for a direct storage connection. Transport orders are placed via the Oseon software program and can be executed manually or automatically.

ZN tools

During the processing of galvanised sheets, even after just a few bends, there may be zinc deposits on the die, resulting in cold welding. This can lead to imprints on the component and imprecision. This can be avoided with the coated LASERdur ZN TRUMPF bending tools. These combine a high level of surface hardness with excellent sliding properties, are corrosion-resistant and do not require cleaning.
